1.  Students completing the Bachelor of Music with All Level Certification will obtain knowledge on musical/technical and pedagogical skills.

2.  Students completing the Bachelor of Music with All Level Certification will demonstrate satisfactory performance skills on at least one major instrument.

3.  Students completing the Bachelor of Music with All Level Certification degree will be prepared to attain professional positions in music education.

1.  Students completing the Bachelor of Music with All Level Certification will obtain knowledge on musical/technical and pedagogical skills.

First Means of Assessment for Outcome Identified Above:
1a. Means of Program Assessment & Criteria for Success:
Bachelor of Music (All Level Certification) graduates will be measured using a departmental comprehensive exam in which students must score 70% or higher.

Insufficient data were collected, as no student has graduated from this program.  Department and degrees were approved during Fall 2002.

Students completing the Bachelor of Music (All Level Certification) degree will perform on juried recitals each semester throughout the program.

Bachelor of Music (All Level Certification) graduates will be surveyed one year after graduation by the Department to gather supporting data concerning whether or not the student was able to gain employment in the music education field and for feedback on curriculum content improvements.  Benchmark for employment success is at least 70%.
