The Institutional Effectiveness Plan provides a basis for understanding the importance and significance of the institutional effectiveness process. The handbook provided to the faculty and staff identifies the mission statement and principles of good practice. This plan facilitates completion of the AIER reports by providing a complete explanation of the elements detailed in the report. In addition, the roles and responsibilities of participants and the flow of the institutional effectiveness process are identified.
The Practitioner’s Manual is a University resource for developing institutional effectiveness plans for academic programs and AES units. It provides information on the institutional effectiveness process, mission statement, development of goals and examples of student learning outcomes and assessment methods, as well as tips on sharing results. In addition, it provides a listing of assessment resources for further study and review.
