In the month of January, the payroll department receives a report from the A&M System Office - BPP Operation Center which lists every person that will be receiving a W-2 for the ending calendar year. Corrections are made, if necessary, and the final report is reviewed by the Payroll Specialist.
If an employee has elected to receive their W-2 electronically, they will receive an email from the Payroll Office stating that W-2's are ready and viewable on their HRConnect - "Payroll Data" screen. If an employee has not elected to receive their W-2 electronically, they will receive an email on January 29th stating that their W-2's can be picked up on January 31st between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. W-2's that are not picked up will be mailed out at 3 p.m.
To view/change your W-2 preferences, go to HRConnect - "Payroll Data," scroll down to Online W-2 Information, and select "Click to Edit."
