SPECIAL PROJECTS

Special projects are billed based on the actual expense to complete the project billed by the contractor or vender. Fees will vary. For more information about special projects see the services guide.

KEY REPLACEMENTS OR CORE CHANGES

Key replacements or core changes are billable as per the key control procedures. Place a work order request to have keys made or cores changed. Physical Plant will create a work order and inform the customer of the fees involved. The customer will make the payment at the Business Office. Once keys are ready, Physical Plant will inform customer. Customer must show receipts for proof of payment before keys will be distributed. Customer must pick up keys in Physical Plant and sign a new key agreement.

* Additional fees include the cost to replace keys for all other key holders.

Example 1: Keys are lost to an office suite where 3 people have access. The costs associated with changing the core include:

Core change		$50
Key replacement	$5 x 3 people =	$15
Total		$65

Example 2: A Sub Master keys that open 10 doors and 5 people have access. The costs associated with changing the core includes:

Core change	$50 x 10 cores=	$500
Key replacement	$5 x 5 people=	$25
Total		$525

TENTS

TAMIU tents are available for rental of TAMIU sponsored events at the following fees:

UNIVERSITY VAN RENTALS

Rental fees for van usage is based on the round trip mileage incurred. The requesting deparatment account will be billed $0.35 per mile based on information from the Vehicle Check-Out Form.
