University Police Department

Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) security officers are available to all students, employees, and visitors. Security officers assist patrol officers with providing escort services to injured persons, opening doors for University personnel/students, and issuing citations to individuals who violate parking rules and regulations. Additionally, our security officers are cross-trained as dispatchers to provide valuable information to first-responders. The goal of our security division is to promote a safe atmosphere to all.
