The Tradition Continues
More than 550 students now call themselves TAMIU Alumni. On December 15, 2007, these students gathered at the Laredo Entertainment Center for TAMIU’s Fall 2007, Commencement. During the rehearsal, class representatives Cynthia Gonzalez, Margaret Mendoza and Jesus Reynoso de Cordova present their Class Gift to TAMIU Alumni Association’s President, Orlando Navarro (’94). To date, 198 graduates have participated in the Class Gift and have donated over $1,500 for TAMIU student scholarships.
