Perla NietoIBC Promotes From Within

        Perla Nieto has been promoted to assistant vice president at International Bank of Commerce-Laredo. Previously, Nieto served as assistant cashier and has worked in the company's wire transfer department since 2004. Nieto will be responsible for managing and supervising all operations in IBC's wire transfer department. Additionally, she will oversee the corporate-wide federal funds department.

        Nieto has been part of the IBC team for more than 12 years, and throughout her tenure she has remained actively involved in Laredo community efforts. She is currently part of Leadership Laredo, an organization that offers community and chamber leaders an opportunity to participate in a series of seminars that help promote active participation in the community. Nieto also serves on the Laredo Medical Center Healthy Woman Advisory Board, which promotes a healthy lifestyle for women in the community.

         Nieto attended Texas A&M International University, where she received her bachelor's degree in accounting (’01) as well as a master's degree in management (’04). Being dedicated to her alma mater, she is active within the Texas A&M International University Alumni Association and has played an integral role with the success of AutMus.

    Youn-ju Jeong  

           Fellow alum, Youn-ju Jeong (2000) owns Ace Cleaners, the biggest and most technically advanced cleaners in the City.  Their doors opened late December and they are providing quality dry cleaning service, alterations and tuxedo rentals.  Environmentally safe organic dry cleaning, the option of custom starching for your shirts and pants is available. Special care for luxurious and delicate garments is provided.  If convenience is important, customers can take advantage of their drop and go service, a perfect option for anyone on a tight schedule!

          Youn-ju graduated in 2000 with an MS in Global Logistics.  He has worked for Andersen Consulting, now Accenture, LG Global Headquarters, Gillette, and Proctor & Gamble.

 Monday thru Friday from 7 am to 7 pm and Saturday from 8 am to 5 pm.
