The TAMIU Ring
The Official Class Ring of TAMIU has created a distinct level of pride in our TAMIU family! It brings new traditions and captures memories of our campus. While the campus will grow, develop, and change, the Official Ring and the icons it represents will remain unchanged as a tangible connection linking past, present, and future generations of alumni at home and around the world. As a cherished keepsake, it is only fitting that we at TAMIU hold a memorable event every year to acknowledge and honor those who receive the coveted TAMIU Class Ring.
The first Class Ring Ceremony in TAMIU history was held on April 28, 2011. Like the ring, this special ceremony allowed students and alumni the opportunity to start yet another school tradition:
One of the campus’ most familiar sights that graces our official ring is the Acequia Fountain. The fountain is key-shaped, symbolizing the key to opportunities. Each ring recipient dipped their Class Ring into a basin of water from the Acequia Fountain to further symbolize future opportunities.
Alumni and students in good standing who have completed a minimum of 75 credit hours, and have purchased their ring on or before the Spring Grad Fair are eligible to attend the Class Ring Ceremony on Tuesday, April 30, 2013.
We encourage you to be part of the next Class Ring Ceremony and carry the spirit and pride of TAMIU! Click here to place your order today.
