During the Spring Semester, we hold an Academic Excellence Dinner for area students who continuously excel at their respective high school. This event is held to demonstrate appreciation for students and parents alike. Students are also invited to apply for the

TAMIU General Scholarship and D.D. Hachar Honors Program.

Preview Day

During the Academic Year, we open our doors to all Laredo and surrounding area families who are interested in discovering what Texas A&M International University has to offer. There are a number of activities and information sessions planned to help the prospective student, and their family, ease into University Life. Various student organizations display their talents while students and parents learn about Texas A&M International University and the various degree programs that are offered. To conlcude the event, all guest are invited to a good old fashioned burger cook-out. We look forward to seeing you here.
