Edmund Ludwig King

Edmund Ludwig King

Edmund Ludwig King - teacher, scholar, translator of Spanish literature - died peacefully at home in Laredo on Dec. 25, 2005.

The late Drs.  Edmund W. King  and Willard King, both  highly respected Spanish professors at Princeton University and Bryn Mawr College respectively bequeathed the King  Collection to the University.  The collection  includes rare Spanish texts including many first editions, and provides rich research opportunities for students, especially those enrolled in the University’s collaborative Ph.D. in Hispanic Studies program.
