Spring 2015 Internship Opportunities:
C.H. Robinson Worldwide, Inc. has made available one (1) internship position. You will be exposed to multiple facets of the logistics and transportation industry such as: sales and negotiation techniques; building industry crossing business relationships; transportation information systems; and distribution management. You will also participate in a team project and competition with other interns to highlight your creativity and expand relationships. These projects will have a direct impact on the business and your team will have the opportunity to present your ideas to senior business leaders. You will learn Retail Operations: complete job shadow assignments, engage in facility projects in cross functional areas; and apply knowledge of retail operations by identify gaps in current operational processes and procedures in cross functional areas, identify solutions to gaps identified in store operations, create plan to implement solution with quantifiable metrics, implement plan and monitor progress, communicate plan status and updates to store management team, present project summary and success report to Market team at close of internship.
