Office of Continuing Education

The mission of the Continuing Education program is to improve the quality of life in the South Texas border region through offering a variety of programs for workforce skills development, personal enrichment, cultural appreciation and community engagement.

Find classes that enrich and enhance your professional and personal life!  At the Office of Continuing Education we gladly offer you the opportunity to continue your learning through our exciting programs for professional development, adult learning courses, and stimulating children summer camps.  Check back frequently for newly added programs! 

Conferences
You can find a variety of different conferences which will range from FIRST Tech Challenge to AP Summer Institutes. These are some of the conferences being offered here on campus.

Workshops
Local Workshops to further the continued professional development related to discipline specific topics.

Professional

Training resources for Continuing Education Units of professional occupations that require licenses, certificates, and credentials. Offering includes Paralegal Certificate Course© and NCP courses.

Academic
Training resources for preoperational test. Offering includes GRE, SAT, and ACT.

Summer Camps

Continuing Education enrichment programs offer non-traditional courses for individuals of all ages, such as Summer Camps for children (1st - 11th grade) and adult seminars for varying interests.

Personal Enrichment

Personal Enrichment programs allow the individual to explore their personal interest. Classes within our Personal Enrichment programs include Spanish Dance Technique and Wine Tasting. If you are an expert or have a certain hobby you would like for us to further explore, learn, or even teach please contact our office. We would love to hear from you.

Volunteers

Volunteer at different events and earn community service hours.
