Job Search Services

Career Services coordinates job and internship search programs that are intended to connect students and alumni with employers.

  • Job Vacancy Notices: Current job openings are advertised via Dusty Works! our online job database, and are categorized by on-campus, part-time, full-time and internship opportunities.
  • Annual Fairs: Held on a semester basis, the various fairs serves multiple purposesare prime occasions for students to gather essential including information about current job,, internship and graduate school opportunities., netwoing, and teacher fair It enables a participantFair participants are afforded a rare chance to talk speak directly with representatives of corporations, government agencies, non-profit agencies, volunteer organizations, federal and state aschool districts, volunteer organizations, and graduate schools, among and many others.
    1. The Career Expo provides an opportunity to interact with a diverse group of prospective employers.
    2. The Graduate and Professional School Fair facilitates contact between undergraduate students and graduate/professional school representatives.
    3. The Teacher Fair, held every fall and spring semesters, brings students and school district representatives together for networking and employment opportunities.
     
  • On-Campus Recruitment: Allows qualified students an opportunity to interview with companies, agencies, and school districts which that periodically recruit on campus throughout the year. Students and alumni may access company information,  and interview dates, and s. Sign up sheets for on-campus interviews are arranged online through Dusty Works!
  • Résumé Referral Service: Students and alumni can register upload their résumés online through Dusty Works! With theis free résumé referral service, students' résumés are sent directly to employers with immediate hiring needs.
  • Résumé Reviews and Practice Interviews: Professional staff provide objective feedback and helpful suggestions to assist students and alumni in producing composing high-quality résumés, and best-prepare for interviews.
  • Workshops: Throughout the semester, these group sessions aid students in learning the skills of writing cover letters and resumes writing, job searching, and preparing for an interviewing. Special topics and other career-related issues are presented regularly to student groups, classes, or upon request. Some topic examples include “What can I do with a major in …”, “Writing Effective Cover Letters and Résumés,” “Interviewing to Win,” and “Career Services Overview.”
