General Event Descriptions
The Office of Career Services organizes several fairs throughout the academic school year for students, alumni and the surrounding community.
The Government & Social Services Job Fair, held in the Fall on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 in the Student Center Ballroom from 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. Provides opportunities to those interested working in government (local, county, state and federal), law enforcement and Social Services Sectors. .
The Graduate & Professional School Fair, held in the Fall on Thursday, November 12, 2015 in the Student Center Rotunda from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m., facilitates contact between students and graduate/professional schools.
The Experiential Learning Experience/Internship Orientation, held in the Fall on Monday, November 2, 2015 in the Student Center Ballroom from 10 a.m. - 11:30 p.m., for students who are involved or interested in Internships, Clinicals, Teaching Levels, Shadowing, Volunteer, Study Abroad, Services Learning and Under Graduate/Graduate Research..
The School Districts Career Fair, held in the Fall on Thursday, November 5, 2015 in the Student Center Rotunda from 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. Provides opportunities to those interested working in teaching, administration and support staff. Positions in the education sector. This fair provides national & international opportuities..
The Business & Hospitality Career Fair, held in the Spring on Thursday, March 31, 2016 in the Student Center Rotunda from 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. Provides opportunities to those interested working in the business, financial and /hospitality sectors.
The STEM Professional Development and Internship Fair held in the Spring on Thursday, February 25, 2016 in the Student Center Rotunda from 3 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. Provides opportunities to those interested in the science, technology, engineering, and mathematics sectors.

Guest Speaker Presentations
Recruiters may have the opportunity to present to classes with topics ranging from careers and internship opportunities, to interviewing techniques and business etiquette. Contact our office for more info.
Throughout the semester, these group sessions aid students in learning the skills of writing cover letters and résumés, and preparation for an interview. Special topics and other career-related issues are presented regularly to student groups, classes, or upon special request.
