| Statistics in Criminal Justice |
| Three semester hours. |
This course is designed to provide students with an introduction to basic concepts and techniques necessary for a preliminary and proficient understanding of criminal justice research. Emphasis will be placed on analyzing and interpreting research findings using a standard statistical software package that includes descriptive statistics, inferential statistics, and bivariate analysis. Prerequisite for CRIJ majors: Twelve hours of CRIJ lower-level required courses. Prerequisite for non-CRIJ majors: Twelve hours of social sciences outside of CRIJ. |
