COMM 3202
Video Production I
Two semester hours.
Through class and instructor analysis of each student's idea for a short video, the class will cover pre-production details: initial concepts, synopsis, treatment, script, storyboards, shot list, scheduling, location scouting, and cost. Using screenings and analysis of classic scenes, the choices available to the videomaker are discussed in depth with focus on subsequent application. Students will work on individual video projects, and on one 6-10 minute final group project. To be taken concurrently with COMM 3102. Course may be repeated once for credit when topic changes.
