Law and Criminal Justice

Three semester hours. (FL)

A study of current societal trends and their impact on legal systems including criminal justice agencies, criminal courts, juvenile courts, mental health courts, and civil courts. The role of the U.S. Constitution and the role and response of both state and federal court systems with respect to these societal trends will be explored. Prerequisite: Graduate Standing.
