Art History Survey: Renaissance to Modern.

Three semester hours.

A basic introduction to painting, sculpture, architecture and other media from the fifteenth to the twentieth century, including some brief coverage of nonwestern cultures. The goal of the course will be to understand art in relation to its traditions of use, meaning, and technique within specific cultures and historical settings.
