EDBE 4334
Teaching the Content Areas in a Dual Language Environment.
Three semester hours.
The course focuses on developing the knowledge and skills required of bilingual education teachers in quality ECE-4 dual language settings. The course is conducted in Spanish and English. Participants will engage in developing lesson plans in the areas of math, science and social studies and design activities that target critical thinking skills. Prerequisites: Admission to the College of Education; oral and written proficiency in English and Spanish; 2.7 overall grade point average, EDCI 3301, and at least 9 semester hours of 3-4000 level Spanish.
