Language Arts in Spanish
Three semester hours.
This course is a study of the methods and techniques for teaching language arts in Spanish to the bilingual child. Special attention will be given to the diagnosis of reading competence to ensure successful transition into English reading. Prerequisite: Admission to the College of Education, 2.7 overall grade point average, EDCI 3301 and SPAN 3300, SPAN 3305 and SPAN 3310.
