Teaching in Diverse Settings

Two semester hours.

This course focuses on sociocultural and economic factors that influence teaching, learning, and school success. Strategies for promoting educational equity and inclusion are emphasized. Candidates engage in a variety of field-based experiences. Students will apply for admission to the College of Education during this course. Prerequisites: Successful completion of EDCI 1102 and 2210 and a minimum 2.7 TAMIU GPA.
