EDHW 3341
Health Issues of Diverse Populations.
Three semester hours.
This course addresses factors that influence the excess morbidity and mortality of minority populations. Issues that will be addressed include an understanding of a culture's influence on the adaptation of health practices, as well as health indicators for diverse populations in Texas. Prerequisites: EDHW 3340, admission to the College of Educatio and 2.7 overall grade point average. (May be taken concurrently with EDHW 3340.)
