Teaching Reading to Linguistically Diverse Populations.
Three semester hours.
This course will examine research and theories relating to the cognitive, affective, social, cultural, and linguistic factors influencing the literacy teaching and learning of linguistically diverse populations. This course is only applicable to the TAMU Collaborative Ed.D. program. Prerequisite: Doctoral standing.
