Speech Development for Students with Hearing Impairments

Three semester hours.

The historical and current views of teaching speech to children with hearing impairments are examined. urrent methods are emphasized. The foundational knowledge and practical methodology in teaching spoken English to children with hearing impairments are addressed. Prerequisites: EDSE 5326, EDSE 5318, and graduate standing.
