KINE 5305
Exercise, Nutrition and Energy Metabolism
Three semester hours.
This course covers the principles of sound nutrition and energy metabolism for the exercising individual, the athlete, and the average individual in society. The physiological needs of the human body; the way that foods, vitamins, enzymes, minerals, etc. are used; and the bogus information concerning nutrition, diet, weight loss, and enhancement of human performance will be discussed. Prerequisite: KINE 3300 or equivalent course approved by graduate advisor.
