MIS 5370

Database Management and Design

Three semester hours.

The objectives and methods of database management are covered. Topics include objectives of data and database management, data models, elementary database design, data dictionaries, data integrity, security and privacy. Actual use of a commercial database management system is required. Prerequisites: MIS 5330 or concurrent enrollment.
