Chorale (upper division)
One semester hour.
This course provides experience in large vocal ensemble while developing vocal techniques such as proper breath support, tone production, and sight reading. Problems of intonation are addressed through aural training methods. A broad range of literature is covered. Several performances are covered every semester. The chorale is open to all university students and community members who can qualify by audition. May be repeated for credit. Prerequisite: Consent of instructor. Course fee: $30.
