Advanced Pharmacotherapeutics

Three semester hours, theory only.

This course covers the essentials of clinical pharmacological therapeutics for advanced practice nursing. Recommended pharmacological agents and their alternatives for disease management, illness prevention and health maintenance will be discussed based on patient age, life style, culture, expected outcomes, protocol utilization, cost and other health conditions. Prerequisite: NFNP 5303.
