Hispanic Culture
Three semester hours.
This course provides contemporary perspectives on Hispanic cultures in an approach to understanding the Hispanic world, its customs, attitudes, and values as they relate to intercultural communication. Students will achieve familiarity with the major Hispanic figures in history, the arts, political events, and social and religious institutions. Prerequisite/co-requisite: SPAN 4350 or 4351.
