Special Topics: Planning
Three semester hours.
This course is designed to develop students’ hands-on knowledge and deeper understanding towards urban planning issues. A specific topic will be selected for the course and the students will focus on the history, politics, and implementation of the issue. The topics can range from national issues such as urban sprawl to local issues such as transportation problems in Laredo. Prerequisite: Senior Standing.
