High School Instructional Showcase: Grades 9-12

This camp is for all current high school students (as of fall 2012) and is designed to evaluate each camper on a college scale. Instruction on hitting, pitching and defense will be included. Campers will compete in a scrimmage if enough are registered. The camp will end with a NCAA rules presentation along with a question and answer session.

Meals: Meals are not provided
Equipment and Clothing: Please bring cleats, glove and personal bat if owned.
Waiver: A signed waiver is required in order to participate.
Facilities: Texas A&M International University Baseball Camps will be conducted at Jorge Haynes Field on campus
Trainer: Medical training staff will be available throughout the camp
Cost: $60 and is limited to the first 100 campers

Tentative Schedule

• 8:00 AM: Registration
• 9:00 AM: Introduction
• 9:15 AM: Warm Up
• 9:45 AM: Evaluation Begin
  • 60 yard dash
  • Throwing
  • Individual Position Instruction
  • Batting Practice
  • Bullpens or Scrimmage
  • NCAA Compliance
• TBD: End of Camp
