Oil and Gas Skills and Safety Training
The of Office of Conitnuing Education has partnered with PEC and Accrediting Organization for SafeGulf and SafeLandUSA. CE is currently offering Oil Patch Preparation System which is a job readiness program that prepares job seekers for work in the oil and gas industry on land and offshore.
Training Includes:

- Confined Space E/A Rescuer
- Fall Protection Safety
- Hazcom
- Hazwoper (24/40hr)*
- Process Safety management
- Fire Protection
- Back Safety
- Electrical Safety
- Hazmat (HM126)
- H2S
- Personal Protective Equipment
- Respiratory Protections
- Forklift Safety
- Emergency Response
- First Aid/ CPR/ Blood Borne Pathogens
- Certified Rigger
- Water Survival (HUET/ METS)
- Welding Safety
- Management of Change
- Work Permits
- Disaster Preparedness
- *40 Hour Hazwoper available only in select areas determined by PEC
Classes will be announced on January 1st. If you have a group of individuals who require certifications please contact the Office of Continuing Education and we will work with you to provide this training for your employees.
