Spanish Dance Technique Class
A study of the various techniques used in Spanish dance including zapateo (footwork), brazeo (arm movements) and castanets. Students will work on these techniques and accompanying choreography without performance opportunities.
Planetarium
Our Saturdays in Space is a series of children's science programs led by outreach educators. Each session will include a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) hands-on activity. Children will work in a laboratory setting, and then take home materials for more exploration. Registration includes all supplies, kits, and a planetarium ticket. Each session specifies dates, times, ages, and prices.
High School Instructional Showcase: Grades 9-12
This camp is for all current high school students (as of fall of 2012) and is designed to evaluate each camper on a college scale. Instruction on hitting, pitching and defense will be included. Campers will compete in a scrimmage if enough are registered. The camp will end with a NCAA rules presentation along with a question and answer session.
