Succeeding in Law School Certificate
Law school is one of the most demanding courses of study you’ll ever take on, and this comprehensive prep course provides you with the tools you need to succeed and make the most of your financial investment. Students in this course will learn study skills, time management techniques, how to write briefs, and other essential skills necessary for launching a successful legal career while avoiding the common mistakes and pitfalls off first-year law students.

By taking this course, participants will learn from one of the original authors of the Succeeding in Law School series the following skills necessary to excel in the study of law:
- Taking effective, and only necessary, lecture notes
- Developing effective study habits
- The pros and cons of participating in study groups
- Taking advantage of your law library
- Participating in student organizations including student government, law review, moot court, and student periodicals
- The value of working in a law related job during law school
- Studying for and excelling on law school exams
