Courses

The courses we expect to offer over the next two years are listed in the two-year plans linked below.  Not every course is offered every semester, and most courses are not offered during summer terms.  Most courses required for degrees are offered at least once every two years; many are offered at least once per year.  Substitutions and independent study courses will normally not be approved for courses that we expect to offer in the next year.  While we can't guarantee that courses will be offered as listed on the two-year plans (due to faculty availability), we will make a best effort to do so.

Some courses may be cross-listed and appear under different course names/numbers on multiple two-year plans.

For specific degree requirements and course descriptions, please consult the undergraduate and graduate programs pages, or your catalog of record based on the year you enrolled at TAMIU.

TWO-YEAR PLANS (Fall 2009 through Fall 2011)

  • PHIL: Philosophy.
