Performance Opportunities

Every semester culminates in a production of choreographic works that features all of the students who are enrolled in the dance courses.  The Fall and Spring dance concerts take place at the Center for Fine and Performing Arts "Concert Theater" and are filmed by Laredo Public Access television.

Performance opportunities are also offered outside of the classroom.  Every Spring semester students are hand selected by the faculty to present choreographic and performance works at the American College Dance Association South-Central regional conference.  The conference provides the opportunity for the faculty and students to have their work adjudicated by a panel of nationally recognized professionals in the field of dance.
