Ms. Dana Crabtree is Instructor of Voice and Opera Workshop at Texas A&M International University.  As a lyric coloratura soprano, Dana Crabtree's performances have been well received, both in America and across Europe.  She has performed in numerous genres, from Broadway favorites such as Laurey in Oklahoma!, and Showboat's Ellie, to operatic repertoire including Despina in Mozart's Cosi fan tutte and Valencienne in Lahar's Die Lustige Witwe.  Her performance of the title role in Donizetti's Die Regimentstochter was lauded as both "beautifully sung" and "charmingly acted," and led to a six-month engagement at the Staatstheater Oldenburg in Oldenburg, Germany.

A native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Ms. Crabtree attended Louisiana State University, completing both the Bachelor of Music and Master of Music degree in Vocal Performance. She also has done postgraduate work at The University of Texas at Austin and the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, England, where she spent a year as a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar. Her voice teachers include Patricia O'Neill, Darlene Wiley, and Teresa Cahill.
