Sharing information about our alumni, students and friends is an important part of the PASR's mission. We hope that you will help share your honors, awards, and travels with us. Please let us know what employment opportunities your agency or department might hve available for our current students and if you are interested in having our students work as interns in your public or non-profit agency.

Fall 2012 PASR Graduates with a Master's degree:

Alumni and Friends News:

  • Edgar Hernandez, class of 2007. Ever since he graduated, Edgar was selected from a pool of 112 applicants and has been working full time at the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas, Laredo Division. He says, “I believe my degree has helped me a great deal in the area and have always been prepared for the challenges the job requires.” Edgar graduated Cum Laude and holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology.
  • Dr. Jim Noris traveled to Chile with TAMIU students as part of the Reading the Globe series in 2012. Read more about it here.
  • Dr. Frances Bernat traveled to Cambodia with TAMIU students as part of the Reading the Globe series in 2011. Read more about it here.
