The exact location of comps and the time now set
The comprehensives will be from 9am to 1pm on June 25, a Friday. Paper based version is scheduled for C118, computer based version for C113. Dr. Rudolph is arranging to visit the computer room in advance to attempt to verify the functionality of the computers and printers. She will be present for comps on Friday the 25th.
Psychology faculty completed office moves this week. Cecily
Cornelius-White is now in KL - 434 D and Jeff Cornelius-White is
in KL - 427 C. Bonnie Rudolph already moved to KL-426 C
last month.
16 students have enrolled in PSYC 5340 for Summer I. There are 9 MACP students, and 7 graduate students from other programs such as sociology and the MAIS program.
Psychology Instructor to start in Fall
A psychology instructor will start in fall of 2004 to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in psychology. The addition of Mr. Gilberto Salinas, (all but dissertation completed), should relieve psychology faculty some, especially in the undergraduate area. Mr. Salinas will also teach for us in the MACP program and will be offering Appraisal in the fall for our MACP students.
APA announces new releases
APA announced the release of several new books last month. Check out the catalog on the table in KL-427. Releases range from works on human suffering to personality guided book edited by Millon.
Counseling Position available at TAMIU Student Counseling Center
Check out the information in Human Resources about the counseling position available at the TAMIU Student Counseling Center. This is a great place for MACP student to gain valuable experience with excellent supervision!
