STARS Scholarship: Stars Scholarship Fund is dedicated to providing successful futures for local students. Stars was established to offer students an equal opportunity for advancement in higher education. Scholarships provide deserving students the ability to achieve success at the college of their choice. Nineteen million dollars have been awarded up.
Dee Michell Scholarship: This scholarship was established to honor Dee Michell, who died of cancer in 2003, a founding member of the the TAMIU Gay, Lesbian, and Bi-sexual Club. Students entering the MACP Program may apply for this $2,000 scholarship award. Each year, one MACP student is selected to receive this need-based award. Applications must be received by September 15th of each academic year.
The Vanessa G. Garcia MACP Graduate Book Award: This award honors the past and continuing contributions of Vanessa G. Garcia, a MACP graduate and prior research assistant to Dr. Rudolph. A $300. book award is given to a first-time entering MACP student. It is awarded based on financial need and an essay is required. Applications must be received by September 15th of each academic year.
