
Excellence in Early Childhood Education (E3)
E3 also known as the Excellence in Early Childhood Education is a federal grant from the Department of Human Health and Services in Washington,DC. It is a five year collaboration between TAMIU, Webb County Headstart, and the Texas Migrant Council to ensure that 30 of their teachers receive a degree in Bilingual Early Childhood Education from the College of Education.

Eligibility
Individuals Who Are Current Employees at Headstart or Texas Migrant Council

Must receive degree in Bilingual Early Childhood Education

Currently employed as a full-time employee at Headstart or TMC
-
Have completed one (1) year of work experience

Must meet admission criteria for the College of Education
- Overall 2.7 GP
- TASP: Reading 260, Math and Writing 240
-
Must be availabe to enroll in six (6) hours per semester once admitted
