Scholarship Program

Eligibility


Individuals Who Are Current School District Employees

  • Must receive degree in either Bilingual Education, Special Education, Science, or Math
  • Currently employed as a full-time para-professional or staff at Laredo Independent School District, United Independent School District, Zapata County School District, or Pearsall Independent School District
  • Have completed one (1) year of work experience with a high need school district
  • Must meet admission criteria for the College of Education
    1. Overall 2.7 GP
    2. TASP: Reading 260, Math and Writing 240
  • Must be availabe to enroll in six (6) hours per semester once admitted

Scholarship Provides:
