Tuition

Resident and nonresident students pay the same tuition at the International Language Institute. The full-level intensive and semi-intensive courses cost $1,300.00. Students, with the exception of International Students who reside in the U.S., are given the option of dividing the complete level into two half-levels by first taking the Listening/Speaking/Grammar component and then the Reading/Writing Component.  Each half-level costs $669.00, excluding text books.

Computer Access Fee

The fee provides for maintenance and expansion of academic facilities on campus.

Identification Card Fee

Every student is required to have a student ID card.  The ID card is used for library and computer privileges.  University ID's (TAMIU OneCard) may be obtained at the OneCard Center in the University Success Center (USC) 131.

 

Library Access Fee

Payment of this fee allows students access to all library services.

Textbooks

The cost of textbooks varies dependent upon the course and the level.  All ILI textbooks can be purchased at TAMIU's bookstore located in the University Success Center (USC) 115.

Parking Fee

The parking fee will be added at the time of payment of tuition and fees if requested.  All cars on campus must be registered with the Campus Police Office in the lower level Killam Library building.  Parking permit may be purchased at the Business Office, USC 121 or Campus Police Department, KL 005.

Late Registration Charge

Students who register during late registration dates, according to the current term schedule, will be assessed a $25.00 late registration charge.
