HABITAT FOR HUMANITYSpring Break Collegiate Challenge The spring Break Challenge is an opportunity for students to participate in the National Collegiate Challenge sponsored by Habitat for Humanity (HFH).
HFH’s year-round alternative break program provides opportunities for students to spend a week of their school break building a house in partnership with a Habitat for Humanity affiliate in the United States. A typical Collegiate Challenge week in Laredo begins with check-in and orientation on Sunday late afternoon and reporting to the work site Monday through Thursday from approximately 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on these days. There are planned evening activities for dinner on Tuesday and a cookout on Thursday with a celebration for the weeks accomplishments. The other evenings are free to use as the groups desires.
