OVERVIEW

The University:  EuroMed offers a wide ranges of courses in English for non-French speaking students in their bachelor and masters programmes.  The teaching staff is highly diverse, coming from strong academic and professional backgrounds with national and international experience.  Active student associations such as INTERACT assist with the needs of international students and promote integration with the French students.  Students can choose to study French at the Language Centre.  Click here for the welcome guide.

Location: Marseille is the 2nd largest city of France.  Located in the south of France, in the Provence region, it is nestled between sea and mountains.  The school itself is located at the Marseille-Luminy Science and Technology Park, an industrial center just outside of Marseille.  The Marseille town centre is not too far away; easily accessible via public transport.

ACADEMIC PROGRAM

Students may participate in this program for a semester or academic year.  For the semester or academic year program, students select from courses offered through CeseMed (undergraduate) or the MBA program.  CeseMed courses are taught in French and in English.  Undergraduate business students should expect mainly to receive elective credit for courses taken at CeseMed.  Click HERE for course work that has been previously approved by TAMIU.

HOUSING

Students are advised to book their accommodations before coming to France.  There are a limited number of on-campus rooms available, and will be reserved in the order that applications are received.  The two main residences on-campus are the Alotra Residence and the Estudines Residence.  Review the welcome guide for detailed information about housing on- and off-campus.  Singly and double occupancy options are available.

FINANCIAL AID and SCHOLARSHIPS

TAMIU financial aid may be applied to the costs of studying abroad.  Student interested in receiving financial aid should:

  • Direct financial aid inquiries to the Department of Financial Aid
  • Complete and submit the FAFSA by the appropriate deadline
  • Request a study abroad budget (will be provided one the student has completed his/her full study abroad application)

In addition to financial aid, qualified students may apply for the International Education Fee Scholarship, the Guadalupe and Lilia Martinez Scholarship, and the Gilman Scholarship.

Students who apply to a semester EuroMed program will automatically receive the one-time Partner Scholarship in the amount of $250.
