Every semester, our team conducts a Student Survey to gain insight on lab usage and user experience with our many computer labs sprawled across campus. It gives our team great pleasure to be able to reflect on an overwhelming positive feedback from the students who willingly chose to participate in last year’s survey. This year 2,230 students participated in our Lab Survey. Student Lab Survey Responses Computer Labs 14 THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION WAS COLLECTED FROM THE STUDENT SURVEYS: University Equipment Overall Experience Room Accommodation Lab Assistants Primary Lab Use 85% 95% 94% 91% 70% of students rated the University’s computer equipment as either excellent , very good , or good . of labs assistants were rated between good and excellent . of students rated their overall experience using TAMIU labs good , very good , or excellent. of students reported homework and class as being their primary uses for computer labs on campus. of room accommodations, like furniture and climate, were rated between good and excellent .
