To apply for graduate school, complete the admissions process and submit the program requirements listed below.

M.S. Biology
    

  • Undergraduate GPA of 2.5 or higher and GPA of 3.0 in biology (or related field)
  • Undergraduate GPA of 2.5 and GPA of 3.0 in biology and chemistry prerequisites (for applicants without a bachelor’s degree in biology)
  • Personal statement

M.A. Communication

  • Undergraduate GPA of 2.5 or higher
  • Personal statement (approximately 500 words)
  • Two letters of recommendation
  • Writing sample of scholarly or professional work (senior research paper, thesis, journalistic writing)

M.A. Counseling Psychology
     

  • GPA of 3.0 in upper-level courses of undergraduate preparation
  • Satisfactorily completed prerequisite courses PSYC 3302, PSYC 4301, PSYC 4303 and PSYC 4308
  • Personal statement
  • Three letters of recommendation
  • Official GRE scores
  • Personal interview

M.S. Criminal Justice
     

  • Undergraduate GPA of 3.25 overall
