TAMIU has or is developing the following research compliance committees and policies.  Below are links to specific information relating to each area of research compliance where you can find additional information, application forms, training requirements and contact information for questions.

Institutional Review Board (IRB) - supervises all human research
Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) - supervises all animal research
Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) - ethical training for all research faculty, staff and students
Biosafety Committee - supervises all biohazardous research
Laboratory Safety Committee - supervises laboratory safety
Conflict of Interest - supervises and manages any conflict of Interest
Export Control - controlled export information
