mentors, Dr. Ruby Ynalvez and Dr. Marcus Ynalvez, travelled
to
Singapore to study the relationships between East Asian
graduate students and their mentors and how they influence scientific
innovation.

These research experience journals contain the narratives of the lived experiences of and the lessons learned by our graduate student mentees, who actively participated in the actual planning, management, and conduct of surveys of knowledge producers in selected Japanese and Singaporean research institutions during the Summer of 2010.
