What's NewBeginning January 4st, 2010, TAMIU formalized Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) training in accordance with the new Federal Research Guidelines effective January 2010. TAMIU requires all students working on externally sponsored research to complete the on-line CITI Responsible Conduct of Research training course (or a minimum of 8 hours of face-to-face training) and the necessary IRB or IACUC training during the first semester of the project. If the research involves any export of data or materials, all Principal Investigators and students must follow export control guidelines.
